S&S Powersports started in business in 1964 as S&S Honda, selling only Honda motorcycles at its original location just a few miles down the street from our current super center location. This makes S&S Powersports one of the oldest names in America as a continuously operated Honda motorcycle service dealer now for forty two continuous years and we are very proud of this heritage of long support and Honda service to the Clarksville, Indiana and Louisville, Kentucky motorcycle community. In 1996, S&S changed its name to the current S&S Powersports to reflect the introduction of the Suzuki motorcycle and Kawasaki motorcycle brands to our line of products. Then in 1999, the KTM motorcycle brand was added as the dirt bike portion of the business continued to expand.
Under new ownership in 2002, plans were initiated to continue this pattern of additional growth and service to the Clarksville community when the dealership was moved to the current location at 700 Kopp Lane in Clarksville, Indiana. The additional brands of Polaris ATVs, Seadoo Watercraft and Can-Am ATVs were added and further expansion was needed to make room for these additional brands. The current facility at S&S Powersports now has over fifty thousand square feet under roof with one of the largest showrooms and service facilities in the Midwest to serve our customers. Located just outside Louisville Kentucky off highway 65, our facility provides large city selection with the outstanding customer service you have enjoyed for years.
